RECYCLEKART WARRANTY POLICY


1. Introduction

At Recyclekart, we are committed to delivering thoroughly tested, high-quality refurbished devices. Our warranty policy is designed to ensure a smooth and fair experience, while maintaining transparency and accountability.

Note: This policy applies only to purchases made directly from Recyclekart’s official website. For third-party platforms, refer to the respective marketplace's warranty terms.


2. Warranty Duration

Standard Coverage

  • All products include a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery.

Extended Warranty

  • Customers may purchase extended warranty coverage of up to 2 years, if available at checkout.


3. What’s Covered

This warranty includes hardware defects or functional failures under normal use:

  • Screen/display issues

  • Motherboard failure

  • Keyboard or input device malfunctions

  • RAM or hard drive defects

  • Battery issues (only if significant degradation is due to manufacturing defect within 6 months)

  • Included accessories (6-month warranty)


4. What’s Not Covered

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Software issues, updates, or configurations

  • Physical, water, or accidental damage

  • Consumables (e.g. battery wear due to usage after 6 months)

  • Damage from misuse, power surges, or third-party accessories

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Devices with removed/tampered serial numbers


5. Customer Cooperation & Troubleshooting Requirement

Before any replacement or refund, customer cooperation is required:

  • Our support team will respond within 24 to 48 business hours.

  • A support executive will guide you through remote troubleshooting steps via call or video.

  • Full cooperation is mandatory. Many issues are resolved without needing a return or replacement.

📌 Note: Direct requests for replacement or refund without troubleshooting will not be accepted.


6. Resolution Process

After completing troubleshooting:

  • Repair: Product may be picked up for inspection and repaired at our facility.

  • Replacement: If unrepairable, a replacement of similar or higher specs will be provided.

  • Refund: In cases of unresolved issues or poor experience, a refund may be processed (after inspection and depreciation, if applicable).


7. Shipping & Handling

Recyclekart covers shipping based on warranty period:

Warranty Period Who Pays Shipping?
0–14 Days Recyclekart covers both sides
15 Days – 6 Months One side by Recyclekart, one by you
6–12 Months Customer covers both sides (max ₹600)

Service remains free during warranty, even if shipping is chargeable.

For ineligible claims, shipping and diagnostic charges may apply.

Important: Package Responsibility

  • Customers must ensure secure packaging when sending products.

  • Damage during transit due to poor packaging is not Recyclekart's responsibility.


Lost or Tampered Package During Pickup

If the device gets lost or tampered with during Recyclekart-arranged pickup:

  • 50% reimbursement of the product’s value will be processed.

  • Reimbursement will be completed within 7–14 business days after verification.

  • Customers must provide pickup receipt and necessary documents for claim processing.


8. Limitation of Liability

Recyclekart is not liable for:

  • Loss of data

  • Loss of productivity or time

  • Business or commercial losses

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund as outlined in this policy.


9. Proof of Purchase & Ownership

To claim warranty service, customers must:

  • Provide a valid invoice or order confirmation

  • Be able to verify ownership, especially in locked or inaccessible devices


10. Governing Law

This warranty policy is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Delhi courts.
